Here's how the swap went down. I left Wed afternoon for Birmingham, Al after I got out of school and believe me those were the LONGEST classes of my life!! rolleyes Four and a half hours later I arrive in Birmingham woo-hoo! I go to JRCivics house that evening when I arrive in Birmingham and get some things out of my car like: timing belt, water pump, new tensioner....the works. After a couple of hours of talking Jim starts working on the motor putting the "Freshen Up" items on. The next day we start working on taking parts off my old motor in order to pull it out of the car. We had a few minor snags here and there. I wasn't too worried about anything since the man himself was working on my car biggrin We get the cable to hydro conversion put on and I'm looking at this thing wonderful "Damn I hope this thing works!" We pull the old motor out and have the other motor in the car in no time it seemed like, except for the rear motor mount rolleyes (inside joke) hehehe.... The motor is now only held in the car by 3 mounts: We used the Prothane "Big-Boy" mounts and DAMN are they stiff!!! Absolutely no wheel hop what so ever!! The last day I was there we get everything installed and put back together and the moment comes where I got in the car to crank it up. Right before I turned the key I was praying for this engine to start right away. I turned the key on to let the fuel pump activate and then cranked it and stupid ass me lets off the crank procedure to early so it didn't start: DOH! So I did it again and voila, it started instantly!! So Jim and I take it for a test drive and I stall it the very first time I take off hehehe.... We weave thru the neighborhood and I come to a stop sign located on a hill doh! I stalled the car three times in a row trying to get it going up this hill thanks to the ACT HD-06 clutch and Fidanza Flywheel, which by the way is anodized blue! We take it out on the interstate and cruz for awhile and then bring it back to his house. Moral of this story: DO A SWAP FIRST!!! Let me tell you guys one thing about Jim, he is one of the best import gurus I have ever met! The way Jim works is just amazing and I was very happy with the way things worked out. Thank You Jim for working on my car biggrin

Here's the link to the pics and sorry for the poor quality (no digital camera yet)

    Tim,

I am glad that you are enjoying your new powerplant. It is always a real honor to help you (and many others here on this board) make your car dreams come true.

I am very pleased with your results.

Now, I cannot wait until you are ready for the blower.

    Jim
